The basis for the empuron service “energy service” is the empuron EMP-Portal, which is used in the energy management and energy controlling. Data sources are e.g. load curves, temperature data, billing data and energy market data, which are bundled via the portal and made evaluable superordinately. The portal is applicable for data of the electricity, for gas and other sources of energy.

Basis for smart services of the energy market

The empuron EMP-Portal is a service for major customers and private customers in the energy market, which provides them a better overview of their energy consumption. It puts the measured data of load curves at the disposal of the utilities customers via the Internet and supports them in the analysis.  

The empuron EMP-Portal is an Internet service, which gets along without hardware installation at the user. Counter data of the utilities are made available on a server operated by empuron. This results in the following advantages:

• No procurement of hardware
• No knowledge about the system necessary for the user

Overview provided by diagrams and evaluations

Singular or several load curves are plotted in the Browser graphically or tabularly. The diagrams are “zoomable”, the user can scroll through time periods and select monthly, weekly or daily ranges and compare trends. Counter sums can be formed, as well as sums and maxima of the tariff are computed. The metering time period is selectable.

Any user is assisted in creating by a wizard. Evaluations can be stored and called up again. „The user profile “, a hierarchical index of all documents of a user, provides overview.

Technical supply of data 

The empuron EMP-Portal is manufacturer independent. For data supply, various possibilities exist:

• Direct selection of the load curves of the local counters
• Transfer of the load curves provided by EDM, ZFA or control systems
• Transfer of billing data from accounting systems
• Acquisition of data of the energy trading data (e.g. “Settlement price curves”)
• Receiving of arbitrary data using the Internet
